COUNTING WITH DRACULA

Kevin asks a techie friend of his to take him to the dark web. He wants to see what’s going on with humanity. 

His friend shows him a video sharing site and clicks on a popular video called ‘Learn to Count with Dracula’.

The video opens with a guy dressed in a low-quality Dracula costume. He’s smiling at the camera behind heavy makeup and black mascara. His hair’s pulled back and there’s a drool of blood.  

The camera pans out. Dracula stands there, all crooked, holding a chainsaw. There’s a guy behind him... hanging there, suspended by his wrists.   

In a mentally ill voice, Dracula says, “Hi kids. Let’s learn to count with Dracula”  then pulls the start cord on the chainsaw. 

Dracula turns around and slices the guys left arm off at the shoulder. 

The guy screams at the top of his lungs while his body twists and turns uncontrollably. 

Kevin stares at the screen... his mouth open in total disbelief. 

Dracula faces the camera. He’s smattered in blood. He lifts a finger, says “one”... points the chainsaw at the guys right hip and asks, “what number comes after one?” 

Kevin decides that’s enough humanity for one night.
