SUNSCREEN

Tracy and Hellen are bridesmaids at their friend’s wedding next week. There’s gonna be a lot of single men there. Maybe one of them will meet the man of her dreams.   

They want to look their best that evening... which means they need a suntan. So, they set up to go to the beach together next Sunday.   

At the beach, Tracy says, “use this so you don’t get burnt” and hands Hellen a bottle of sunscreen. 

Tracy doesn’t mention that she filled the bottle with a highly reflective material as a practical joke. She just lets Hellen rub it all over her body. ​Hellen has no idea that having this liquid on your skin at the beach is like lying under a magnifying glass in the middle of a desert. 

After a while, Hellen sits up. She complains how hot it is. Tracy says, “you need more sunscreen” and hands her the bottle. 

A while after that, Hellen’s had enough. She wants to leave.   
She can barely stand up. It aches her to slip on her oversized t-shirt… and she groans at every stair on her way up to Tracy’s third floor apartment. 

The second Tracy opens her front door, Hellen rushes to the bathroom… she has to see herself in a mirror.  

There’s a scream. 

Tracy emergency runs into the bathroom. Hellen’s so burnt it looks like she glows in the dark.

Tracy yells, “YOU NEED ALOE VERA GEL” and disappears to the kitchen. 

Tracy takes out the aloe vera gel container from the refrigerator, opens it on the kitchen counter, and laughs while she pours in scorpion pepper Tabasco sauce.
