SWORD WOUND

After the battle, Arthur looks down at the handle of a sword that’s stuck through his stomach. There’s blood dripping on his shoes.

He can’t pull the sword out… that might kill him. His best option is to leave it in. At least he’s alive. He has a chance. He just has to get to a hospital.

He hails a taxi… but because of the sword, he has to crawl into the backseat on all fours to get inside. The Pakistani driver looks at him... “WHAT HAPPENED YOU?” Arthur yells, “I NEED A HOSPITAL! DRIVE!”

The driver puts the pedal to the metal and races to the hospital, at full speed.

The only problem is the driver forgot there’s a speed bump on the way. He flies over it. The wheels of the car are off the ground. The car lands with a nuclear bomb level thud.

Arthur bounces up and down. The tip of the sword hits the roof of the car, pushing the sword back through him. Then the handle hits the leather seat, stabbing him again, slicing up his internal organs.

When the taxi finally screeches to a halt, against all odds, Arthur’s still alive.

He stumbles towards the emergency room... but he can’t get inside. There’s a metal detector at the door.
