TWO DONKEYS
Two donkeys walk down a road carrying supplies on their backs.
The donkey named Danny grumbles to his friend, “It’s ridiculous how heavy this stuff is.”
Danny trots over to their owner, “Excuse me, sir… the supplies we’re carrying are really heavy. Is there any way you can lighten up the load?”
The owner says, “sure, no problem” and removes a bag of supplies.
Danny trots back to his friend, “Did you see that? It’s like taking candy from a baby. Why don’t you ask him to lighten up your load?
His friend ignores him.
The next day, Danny trots back over to their owner, “Excuse me, sir... the supplies are still too heavy.”
The owner removes another bag.
Danny trots back to his friend wearing a smile of victory... “worked again. My load’s half the size of your load. Why don’t you ask him... he’ll do it.”
His friend says, “Maybe I will. Let me think about it.”
The next day, Danny asks the owner again, “Is it possible to take off one more bag, please?”
The owner ties Danny to the back of his wagon and drives him to a dog food manufacturing plant.
