YUMMY BOOGERS

Logan looks over at Liam at recess. Liam has a finger jammed up his nose. 

Liam twists his finger and pulls out a big juicy booger.

He studies it on the tip of his finger… then puts it into his mouth.  

Logan watches him chew it. It’s not like what his mother said… that boogers are dirty… that kids don’t play with kids that eat their boogers. Liam really likes it.  

Liam dries his wet booger finger on his shirt… then sticks it into the other side of his nose… twists it… and pulls out another big juicy booger. 

Logan rushes over to him before he eats it… asks, “can I try that one?” 

Liam looks at him… shakes his head up and down yes and points his booger finger at Logan’s mouth. 

Logan licks the sticky booger off Liam’s finger and chews it… looks at Liam with approval… he actually likes it. It’s yummy! 

Liam friendly smiles at Logan… asks, “Can I try one of yours?”

Logan says “yeah”… and Liam excavates a big juicy booger from the right side of Logan’s nose.
